Hello everyone! So, a couple days ago, Wildcard* by Marie Lu – book two to Warcross – was released out into the bookish wild! I reviewed Warcross then, and now can’t wait to have you read my review of Wildcard, a book I soooooo loved!!! Now, because the synopsis for Wildcard is spoilers for Warcross, I will just link to the book’s Goodreads page for you to check out! PS. it sounds spectacular!!! Now, let’s get into my (non-spoilery) review….
- Characters (A+): it was soooo good to come back to the Warcross characters and see more of them, as well as see new characters! I mean, the relationships (friendships, enemies etc) and their chemistries were all so interesting and I loved it all and, though I love the book, I wish I could have had more all around (especially on the good guy side)
- Plot (A+): If you thought the plot of Warcross was whoa then Wildcard is WOWWWWW because omg I legit had no idea where the plot was going in the best way possible. Usually, I can see like 5 steps ahead where things will go but I honestly couldn’t figure it out and it made reading Wildcard so much more fun because I was just caught up reading and wasn’t thinking or spoiling myself with my thoughts! I wish the end just kept going to be honest hahahaha it was just soooooo good!
All in all, I adore this sequel to Warcross!! Wildcard was so much more than I could have even dreamed of; I loveeeeee it!!! Now, have you guys read Wildcard* yet? If so, what did you think?
